To Shave or Not to Shave?

To shave or not to shave? That is the question! Now that summer is upon us, many people feel that their furry friend would be a lot cooler if he/she were shaved down. The shedding of a double coated dog can also be quite intense, but I'm here to tell you, put down those clippers! Those double coated breeds have a natural cooling system built in - when you shave your pup it messes with their natural systems, causing them to overheat much easier. I know it's hard to resist that lion cut, but your pup will thank you in the end.
